Winslow Junction Project

The Winslow Junction Project is the first historical research project of the WGHS.   Winslow Junction is a railroad freight yard located in Winslow Township that originally served 3 primary railroad lines:

  • Camden & Atlantic RR
  • Vineland Railway Co.
  • Philadelphia & Atlantic City RR

The project entails, among other things:

  • The history of the original three railroad companies
  • The impact that these railroads had on the businesses and communities in the area.
  • The families that were involved/promoted Winslow Junction and/or the original three railroad companies.

These are just the starting points for this research project.  Do you want to be a part of it?  Do you want to work with others who share your interests and historical curiosity?  Then, join now!

Become a member of the WGHS and help us map out other historical research projects and to help preserve Winslow Township's history and its documents.  Join now.
